My teaching approach comes from experience. I know exactly how it feels to learn a language and feel frustrated at times. I have developed a system that will facilitate your French learning journey. I was born in Paris, France where I studied British and American History. I started my master's degree in San Francisco where I taught French to University students. After this amazing experience, I decided to continue exploring the world and moved to Melbourne to teach French. My French Story was born four years ago with the publication of my first Youtube video. I wanted to teach not only to students in my classroom but students all around the world. My channel now has nearly 40,000 subscribers. This number keeps growing.

I created My French story because I wanted to help people learn French in a fun and effective way.

As a native French speaker, I found it hard to speak English a few years ago. I had the vocabulary in my mind and the grammar but I was struggling to understand fast-spoken English.

When I moved to San Francisco and started going to University, I couldn't have conversations in English. I was too scared to make a mistake or pronounce a word the wrong way. For an entire semester, I did not say a word in class because I thought “People are going to hear that I have a French accent”. Those fears prevented me from making any friends and enjoying my American college experience.

When I realized that I was wasting so much time being scared of speaking English, I decided to do something! I started slowly to speak and eventually managed to overcome my fears and my listening skills also got much better.

I created My French story because I wanted to help people learn French in a fun and effective way.
